Popular with athletes as well as those with chronic pain, cupping is a massage technique that uses suction to relieve musculoskeletal pain and tension by breaking up fascial adhesions and pulling lactic acid from spasmed muscles. This allows muscles and tendons to release, brings fresh blood and oxygen to the area, relieves pain, reduces swelling and improves performance. Cupping may also be used to break up phlegm in the lungs and resolve fascial adhesions affecting internal organs. This is a 30-minute treatment using cups only (no needles) to address areas of concern.

This is a 30-minute appointment to address your health concerns through Classical Chinese and cotemporary Western diet therapy, supplementation and herbal medicine. Having practiced and taught herbalism for over a decade, Megan is known locally as an expert in bioregional plant medicine and holds a Masters Degree in Chinese Herbal Medicine. She follows a Classical Chinese system of food cures tried and perfected since the Ming Dynasty to address numerous concerns.

Functional testing can also be provided at the patient's discretion to examine underlying hormonal imbalances, food intolerances or microbial issues that may affect health concerns.
